Aaltoja is a Tampere and Jyväskylä based band that has been around since 2018, operating in the worlds of emo and post hardcore. They recently released their first album Aion unohtaa tän kaiken which received a positive response from listeners in the field.
The members of Aaltoja share a passion for emotional music and beautiful melodies. The band draws inspiration from the soundscapes of Touché Amoré, Have Heart, Abduktion and American Football, among others.
Aaltoja has played a good number of gigs and live they are definitely at their best – we will surely see an energetic and emotional show at Lost In Music, too.
Aaltoja will perform on Thursday 5.10. at Maanalainen as part of an evening curated by Radio Helsinki’s Korkeajännite programme.
