emma & matilda is a new and delightful duo formed by 23-year-old best friends Emma and Matilda. The duo describes their music as bedroom folk, as a lot of their music is written in each other’s bedrooms. The songs have a strong melancholy presence, and the duo hopes that their music can be a beautiful place for the painful. Relationships serve as endless inspiration for Emma and Matilda’s lyrics, which convey big emotions in small songs.
The duo’s debut EP, Siellä kaikki on niin ihanaa, was released in spring 2023 and includes the single Veronica, which was featured on TikTok in spring 2023.
