Ihme-Liisa’s music mixes spoken word, singing and recitation, inspired by pop and theatre music. Her sound, which has been also described as a musical-rap or art rap, is based on endless streams of consciousness and big emotions in the context of self-growth and human relationships. In the essence of it all is honesty, which carries through the deepest of waters.
Ihme-Liisa is currently finishing her debut album, from which the artist has so far released the singles Kaaosta ku sä and Aina vaan ihminen.
Ihme-Liisa will perform on Thursday 5.10. at O’Connell’s as part of an evening curated by Radio Helsinki’s Uusi ääni programme.
