Klarissa is a Helsinki-based artist who creates melancholic worlds known for her versatile expression. Klarissa skillfully combines different styles and deep emotions. Her debut album, Maailma vie meidät, released in March 2023, has attracted positive attention from listeners and critics alike. The album explores themes personal to the artist from a wide range of perspectives, combining lo-fi hip hop, indie pop and retro elements into a unique mixture.
Klarissa’s debut album received deserved attention in music media, garnering rave reviews and she was featured as the artist of the week on Finnish national radio YleX Nosteessa, among others.
Klarissa will perform on Thursday 5.10. at O’Connell’s as part of an evening curated by Radio Helsinki’s Uusi ääni programme.
