The Helsinki-based band moshimoshi, which released their debut album earlier this year, is rapidly becoming the new favorite of guitar-driven music enthusiasts in Finland. moshimoshi’s music combines indie rock, punk, emo, screamo, hardcore, and even jazz in a fresh way. Few bands manage to be simultaneously raw, smoothly rolling, positively energetic, entirely underground, and convincingly evocative as moshimoshi does.
Known for their energetic performances, the band has played at numerous Finnish festivals during the summer, including Sideways, Kesärauha, and LPRCHC Fest. The singles from their recent album are familiar from, among other places, Spotify’s global All New Punk playlist.
