Nisa brings a new and internationally benchmarked sound to the Finnish R&B scene. She released her Finnish debut single Ride or Die at the beginning of the year, which attracted a lot of positive attention in the Finnish music media and Tiktok. The audio of the song has currently attracted almost 1900 videos on TikTok. Last spring, Nisa also released a five-track EP bearing the name of her debut single, which was included among YleX’s more interesting albums of the month.
Nisa has many years of experience in performing. She first came to the attention of a wider audience when she was part of the D.R.E.A.M.G.I.R.L.S. collective, which starred in Flow Festival tent stages in 2018 and 2019, among others. Nisa has also been a co-member of the R&B duo AK, which has opened for international superstars such as Cherrie, Azealia Banks and Princess Nokia in Finland. In summer 2023, Nisa performed at events such as Kesärauha and Blockfest. She was also seen at Ruisrock as a guest at Isaac Sene’s show.
