NUPU is a band with a fresh punk attitude, composed of highly talented musicians, songwriters, and producers. Founded in 2018, NUPU performs modern Finnish-language band pop, and their live performances and energy are top-notch, ready to command even larger stages. Their music reflects the essence of summer, melodrama, love, and the youth of the 2020s.
In October 2022, NUPU released their debut album Valheet, tupakka ja reivit (“Lies, Cigarettes, and Raves”) and has been actively touring ever since. In December 2023, Nupu won the Teosto and Nelonen Uudet soundit (“New Sounds”) competition, which led to their performance at the 2024 SuomiPop Festival in Jyväskylä.
