SARURU is a popmetal attack inspired by Japanese yami kawaii (“sick cute”) culture, commanded by Salla-Marja Hätinen. With feminist lyrics and pop-hooks, SARURU has come to slay the patriarchy with heavy riffs and pink rifles. When live, Hätinen is accompanied by Marianne Heikkinen (drums) & Laura Helenius (guitar).
SARURU’s debut album will be released in spring 2022.
