After taking a year off, Lost In Music made a fresh comeback in Tampere 7.-9.10.2021 and Finlands biggest indoor and showcase festival successfully took over the venues and clubs around the city for the 14th time.
Despite the challenging times and the production starting in the middle of the pandemic and restrictions, Lost In Music attracted almost 6000 visitors as the restaurant restrictions were released in the beginning of October. The versatile program of almost 70 artists highlighted especially fresh and new Finnish music and showcased a lot of artists close to breakthrough. Many artists performed for the first time ever in Lost In Music. The repressed craving for live music experiences for both artists and the audience unravelled making the atmosphere visibly euphoric in every show and venue at the festival. A lot of visitors also came outside Tampere and for example exchange students found the festival well.
Lost In Music was held at same time as the music industry event Music & Media. Lost In Music’s promoter Pietu Sepponen was awarded as the promoter of the year in Industry Awards Gala.
Lost In Music will take place next time in autumn 2022. More detailed information about the dates and program will be announced later.
