She will be responsible for shaping the artistic direction of the 2025 edition of the festival, securing artists, and leading the artist committee that oversees the festival as a whole. Savolainen\u2019s role at Lost In Music begins immediately.<\/p><p>Lotta Savolainen is a music industry professional who creates new spaces and working cultures, particularly to recognize the value of indie artists. Throughout her career, she has worked with both major and independent labels, successfully combining roles as a music creator, publicist, agent, mentor, and music journalist.<\/p><p>Strengthening diversity in the music industry and unwavering commitment to ethical values are at the core of Savolainen\u2019s work. In early 2024, she was awarded the title of \u201cIndie Friend of the Year\u201d by Indie Co. and was also nominated for \u201cRadio Professional of the Year\u201d at the Industry Awards. Her warm and insightful music curation can be heard weekly on Radio Helsinki\u2019s afternoon shows and read monthly in Soundi magazine.<\/p><p>Over the years, Savolainen has served as a judge and curator in various panels, including the Emma Gala, Indie Awards, and the artist committee of the Lost in Music festival.<\/p><p>\"Lost In Music is the most important domestic showcase event in our industry. I have great respect for its history and significance, both for artists and other industry professionals. I want to further strengthen Lost In Music as a platform for musical diversity, internationalization, and new industry innovations.\"<\/p><p>Music x Media CEO <strong>Jani Jalonen<\/strong> states: \"Lotta's passion and expertise in music are exceptional. The most important mission of Lost in Music is to serve the Finnish music industry and provide new talents with opportunities in their careers, both in Finland and internationally. Lotta is an excellent person to drive this development forward and to further strengthen the content relationship between Lost in Music and Music x Media.\"<\/p><p><strong>Lost In Music will be held in Tampere from September 25 to 27, 2025.<\/strong>The event's open artist application will open in February at www.lostinmusic.fi.
