Mahls is a producer-artist whose music blends innovative electronic pop with poetic Finnish-language lyrics. Her stream-of-consciousness texts explore her deepest secrets and most wondrous dreams. Mahls’ live performances feature massive electronic soundscapes and beats, with lyrics flowing between spoken word and singing. The entire production is her own: she has composed and written all the songs, played and recorded every instrument and vocal track. Her debut album, Muistikuvat musta, was released in 2023, and she is currently working on her second album. The label behind the releases is Helsinki-based Kuohu Records.
