Myrtsi is the project of Emma Uusi-Koko, Emma Uusi-Kokon a music creator and producer from Vaasa, inspired by homemade aesthetics, Finnish roots, and a bit of grumpiness – sulking with a twinkle in the eye. Despite the sulking, the heart of the music is playfulness and fun. Myrtsi’s lyrics blend everyday philosophical reflections, description, and straightforwardness with a touch of irony, accompanied by harmonious melancholy and the joy of synth sounds.

The debut single, ehkä syksy muuttaa kaiken , released in October, received a warm reception. The track was featured in Soundimagazine and radio(Ylex, Radio Helsinki). This positive attention has led to increasing demand for new music.‍
