Punomo Punomo is an eight-member soul band whose distinctive vintage sound weaves an aesthetic rooted deeply in soul and funk traditions with Finnish-language lyrics in an unprecedentedly natural and expressive way. Behind Punomo’s music are the band’s drummer Lauri Levanto and singer Johanna Rauma. The band's debut album, Punomo released in early 2022, received acclaim and excellent reviews both domestically and internationally. The debut was followed up as expected in February 2025 with Punomo’s second album, Kahdeksan kertaa.
