King Satan

King Satan is a Finnish industrial metal band that defies precise genre definitions. The band was founded by vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer King Aleister Satan in 2015. The band's carnivalesque style is born from the synthesis of electronic dance music, grooving extreme metal and provocative yet philosophical and esoteric themes, which the band itself calls death metal disco in its mischievous style.

King Satan draws inspiration from the depths of the human mind and the dark side of world mythologies, viewing them through a lens colored by black humor, absurdism, and blasphemy. Stylistically, the band lies somewhere between avant-garde and shock rock, without falling directly into any singular category. The band's trademark includes the vocal and stage dynamics between the lead character and keyboardist-vocalist Hekate "Kate" Boss, where a Beauty and the Beast-styled dialogue combines enchanting chaos with raw darkness.

This Tampere-based group has established itself not only in Finland but also in the international alternative, industrial and extreme metal arenas. The band's success has come through hard gigging, chart positions and international music video awards. Originally founded as a solo project, this act quickly developed into a full-fledged band, whose explosive stage charisma and energetic performances have taken the band to Finnish rock clubs and touring gigs in 19 different countries. On the side of their own headlining gigs, the group has been touring as the opening act for bands such as Turmion Kätilöt, Gothminister and Deathstars, as well as festival appearances at events such as Tuska, Nummirock and Masters of Rock.

King Satan's fifth album will see the light of day in November 2026, continuing the unique symbiosis of kitsch and mystical art. Before that, the band has released, among other things, a special single in collaboration with internationally known Finnish blues-rock guitarist Erja Lyytinen. The song is called “Black Magick Rock ’N’ Roll”. The band's primus motor, King Alesteir Satan, has won the ‘Best Shock Award’ at the 2026 Europe Music Video Awards with the music video for the song.
