Lost In Music – Festivaali

25.-26.9.2025

The whole program of Lost In Music is now out and Minttu, who debuted in March, is included – see the whole coverage!

Lost In Music festival in September has received its latest additions and the program is now complete. This year's event will include, among other artists:

Minttu

Pop newcomer Minttu, who debuted in March, has quickly attracted great interest in the Finnish music scene. 25-year-old Minttu sings, dances, and writes and composes her own songs. The artist's debut single Paperihaavoja soared to number 28 on Spotify's most played songs list in the spring immediately after its release and has also been played on the radio.

Minttu made her debut at Universal Music's annual Showcase in early June, where she put on an exceptional show full of big vocals and choreography. Minttu's second single, Mokaamisen maailmanmestari, was released on June 6. The relatable summer song has already completely melted the hearts of listeners.

Kirsikkapuu

Kirsikkapuu is a new generation of strange, iskelmärock promise, inspired by homespun velvet, an underground ethos and rugged elegance. The band reimagines Finnish rock and seizes upon its conventions with a new, subversive energy. In May 2025, Minna Records released Kirsikkapuu's debut album, which is full of catchy melodies, twisted thoughts, the music of sleep and detachment. With intimate duo gigs, Kirsikkapuu lets the audience get as close as ever to the poetic meanders of the album's songs.

Longing Louisa

Longing Louisa's English-language music combines electronic indie, art pop and ambient. The focus is on delicate vocals, billowing piano, synapses and rich backing vocals. Longing Louisa is Reetta Hoti's new project, which draws influences from Sufjan Stevens, Imogen Heap, Lana Del Rey and even Björk.

Additionally, this year there is a chance to listen to a podcast live at Lost In Music!

Mikko Kosonen ja osaajat -podcast will feature singer/songwriter Samuli Putro as a guest in an exclusive special episode recorded in front of an audience.

In line with the podcast's theme, the stage will feature in-depth but passionate discussions about skills, training, learning processes, working methods, development, and everything related to a foreigner's core competence.

What is Putro's writing process like? How did the influences of his youth transfer to his own paper, and where does he get new influences? How does a middle-aged artist develop himself, and in what direction? Kosonen has previously played in Putro's band and on his albums, and the unique evening also aims to perform live music during the discussion.
