Lotta Savolainen - artistic director of the Lost in Music festival
Lotta Savolainen is taking on the role of Artistic Director for Lost In Music, Finland’s leading new music showcase festival. She will be responsible for shaping the artistic direction of the 2025 edition of the festival, securing artists, and leading the artist committee that oversees the festival as a whole. Savolainen’s role at Lost In Music begins immediately.
Lotta Savolainen is a music industry professional who creates new spaces and working cultures, particularly to recognize the value of indie artists. Throughout her career, she has worked with both major and independent labels, successfully combining roles as a music creator, publicist, agent, mentor, and music journalist.
Strengthening diversity in the music industry and unwavering commitment to ethical values are at the core of Savolainen’s work. In early 2024, she was awarded the title of “Indie Friend of the Year” by Indie Co. and was also nominated for “Radio Professional of the Year” at the Industry Awards. Her warm and insightful music curation can be heard weekly on Radio Helsinki’s afternoon shows and read monthly in Soundi magazine.
Over the years, Savolainen has served as a judge and curator in various panels, including the Emma Gala, Indie Awards, and the artist committee of the Lost in Music festival.

Lost In Music will be held in Tampere from September 25 to 27, 2025.The event's open artist application will open in February at www.lostinmusic.fi. The goal of the showcase festival is to present Finland's most exciting new artists and music creators to a wide audience and, in collaboration with Music x Media, to music industry professionals.
